FILM NOTES

Filmmaker Andrew Fiore directs his camera at 6 homeless people during the global occupy movement of late 2011. With the experience of having lived life both on the streets and in the most notorious, substandard SRO's in the downtown east side of Vancouver, Andrew conducts investigations that are eye opening and thought-provoking. We meet an ex-con, a single mother and a struggling actor, all trying to find affordable housing in our world class city. Protesters from every walk of life at the Occupy Vancouver tent city, offer perspectives on how to end homelessness and allow everyone a chance to live with the basics that most of us take for granted.
